This museum belongs to the Cultural Institution of Piraeus Bank. Here you will find a detailed presentation of all the phases of sericulture and silk treatment and production. The museum also explores how Soufli became one of the most important places for the silk industry at the end of the 19th century and up to the 1940s. It is housed in the Kourtides Mansion which was built in 1883. It was formerly a two-story house with an internal garden, outdoor auxiliary rooms and guest rooms for researchers.
