It is a unique style mansion like two-story houses connected, which is rumored to be built by Epirus masons in the 1860s on behalf of the Kugiumtzoglu tobacco merchant. It is a representative token of the luxurious mansions of that era, that used to be the homes of rich tobacco merchants. It is a huge house of European architecture and it ‘ll actually take you quite some time to visit it in its entirety. Ground floor has the tobacco merchant’s office, and the rooms for the ladies of the house, you will also find porcelain heaters.
